Who we are.

Simon Bray

Simon is a marketing communications expert and business leader with proven experience in developing and leading multi-disciplined teams to deliver business change, process improvement and marketing results. He has provided leadership and mentoring support for teams involved in mergers, acquisitions, voluntary and compulsory redundancy programmes and major business change initiatives.

He has worked for a diverse range of clients including Liverpool City Council, Broadacres Housing Association, Holistic Financial Services, Bensons for Beds, and a number of smaller independent businesses across Yorkshire.

He has developed and delivered bespoke training, business seminars and keynote conference addresses for the Direct Marketing Association, SMi International, Local Authorities, Universities, Chambers of Commerce and Secondary Schools.

In addition, his executive and non-executive roles have included board member of Yorkshire Assessment Limited; Chair of the Bradford PR Group; Board Member for the Prince’s Trust (West Yorkshire); and Governor of a Further Education College.


Hannah May

Hannah is a marketing professional and project manager with many years experience in both the public and private sectors. She has managed projects for Government departments and large multinational corporations.

She has acted as an approved Interim Manager for Recycling in Action, working at a strategic level to help deliver and grow their business and has also been part of an innovations panel established by the bed retailer Silentnight.

Together with Simon May, and independently from QSMR, Hannah owns and runs The North Space, a design agency based in Yorkshire, made up of original thinkers with a thirst for creativity and client satisfaction.



Simon May

Simon is a creative designer with over 20 years experience working in a variety of sectors in a wide range of disciplines. He specialises in producing design-led solutions and has added value to a wide range of key clients including Geest, BP, Magnet Trade and CP Hart.

Together with Hannah May, and independently from QSMR, Simon owns and runs The North Space.
